Do I need to bring my own ultrasound device?
No. Multiple handheld and cart-based systems will be provided for you to test during the hands-on day. You're welcome to bring your own device as well if you'd like to practice on it specifically.
What should I wear or bring to the hands-on day?
Scrubs or comfortable clothing you don't mind getting ultrasound gel on.

CME is included for the in-person portion of the course.
Will I receive a certificate of completion?
Yes, a certificate of participation for the course will be provided.
What if I need to reschedule my hands-on day? Are there refunds?

I'm not based near Mill Creek, WA. What travel arrangements do you recommend?
Mill Creek, WA is part of the northern Seattle suburban area. Sea-Tac (SEA) Airport is the closest major airport, about an hour away, though Paine Field (PAE) offers more convenient regional flights if your route serves it. Several hotels are nearby, and staying in Seattle is also a good option if you'd rather combine the trip with a night in the city. Public transit from Seattle to Mill Creek is possible but requires both train (Sound Transit's Link light rail) and public transit bus. Uber and Lyft are both readily available and the more convenient option for most attendees.
What happens after I complete the Foundation Course?
You'll be eligible for Clinical Facial Ultrasound: Needle Guidance & Complication Management. It builds directly on what you learned in the Foundation Course and moves from scanning to clinical action: advanced Doppler technique, real-time needle guidance, and hands-on assessment and treatment of the complications you're most likely to face.
